Happy Memorial Day & Black Pride Weekend from Team DC

Team DC family,

Happy Memorial Day weekend — and happy Black Pride weekend here in Washington, DC!

As we head into a weekend of remembrance, celebration, community, and Pride, I want to start by thanking everyone who joined us for Night OUT at the Prodigy and Night OUT at DC United. It has been incredible to see our Team DC family showing up, cheering together, and continuing to make LGBTQ+ sports visible across the region.

And the Team DC calendar is just getting started.

Next up: Night OUT at the Nationals on Wednesday, June 24 at Nationals Park, when the Nats take on the Phillies. We are especially excited to share that the giveaway design has just been released — and this year, ticket buyers will have a choice between a sleeved jersey or a sleeveless jersey. Whether you’re going classic baseball or full summer Pride, this is one giveaway you’ll want to grab.

Tickets are available now, so don’t wait to secure your spot.

We also want to flag a time-sensitive survey about Capital Pride. This year, there are some important changes to how Team DC teams and leagues can volunteer for Capital Pride and earn money for their organizations. Changes from DC’s ABCA are causing most of the shuffling, but we are working closely with Capital Pride to make sure there are still meaningful options for our teams and leagues to participate, support Pride, and raise funds.

Please take a few minutes to complete the survey as soon as possible so we can better understand your team or league’s interest, capacity, and availability. This survey is not just about shifts but also overall presence and participation in Capital Pride.

Capital Pride is right around the corner, and Team DC is excited to show up in a big way. We are planning a joyful, energetic parade contingent, and all Team DC teams and leagues are invited to participate. More details and sign-up information will be shared soon.

We are also looking ahead to more Night OUT events this summer and fall, including:

Night OUT at the Nationals — June 24 at Nationals Park
Washington Spirit Night OUT — August 23 at Audi Field
Mystics Night OUT — September 24
Washington Commanders Night OUT — Date TBD

For Nationals and Spirit, we are looking forward to keeping the fun going with pre- and post-game gatherings at Dacha Navy Yard. For Spirit Night OUT, we will also gather at the Heineken Rooftop during the match.

Thank you, as always, for being part of this community. Rally your teammates, fill out the Capital Pride survey, grab your Nats tickets, and get ready for a summer full of Pride, sports, and Team DC spirit.

In solidarity and Pride,
Miguel A. Ayala
President, Team DC

TEAM DC CAPITAL PRIDE INVOLVEMENT

We are working with Capital Pride to ensure our member teams and leagues are represented at Capital Pride this year, including the parade, festival and in fundraising volunteer opportunities as we have been able to do in the past. Due to changes in requirements by DC’s Alcoholic Beverage & Cannabis Administration, we will not be able to serve as barbacks in the beverage garden this year. So please fill out this survey ASAP - by 5pm Thursday, May 28th, 2026. This will help us coordinate a few pieces related to Capital Pride and fundraising shifts.

OpenClaw is Linux. SureThing is the Mac.

An early OpenClaw contributor had 300,000 unread emails. He tried Claude. He tried Codex. Nothing tamed it.

Then he connected SureThing. In one hour, his inbox was organized, priorities surfaced, and the agent understood what mattered without a setup marathon.

His summary: “OpenClaw is Linux. I want a Mac.”

That’s the difference. Some agents are powerful if you configure, host, maintain, and explain everything yourself. SureThing is built for founders, operators, and marketers who want the leverage of autonomous agents with the usability of real software: persistent memory, business context, live reporting, and work that keeps moving while you sleep.
