Team DC family,
We’ve got a lot to celebrate — and even more to look forward to.
First, thank you to everyone who came out for Wizards Night OUT last night. It was a great evening of community, pride, and showing the power of Team DC.
Now, we’re gearing up for our next big event: our fundraiser with the Dupont Social Club at Her Diner next Saturday. You’ll find Team DC Board Members and Scholarship Committee members in drag to raise funds. We hope you’ll come out, have fun, and support Team DC as we continue our work to uplift LGBTQ+ athletes and our community.
We’re also encouraging everyone to buy their tickets for the Night of Champions Gala. We are now less than a month away. The Gala is one of our most important events of the year — a chance to celebrate our community, honor incredible leaders and scholars, and raise critical funds for the future of Team DC.
And speaking of impact, thank you to everyone who has donated recently. Your generosity is already making a difference. This year, our scholarship committee identified 7 outstanding young scholars we want to support. At first, we only had funding for 6 scholarships — but thanks to recent donations, more of these deserving young people will receive the support they need.

🎉 Our friends at the Dupont Social Club, who bring you the annual Miss Adams Morgan Pageant, are bringing you a fun night of Drag and Drama.
Join us as we raise funds for Team DC, including performances by the President of Team DC, Moka Loka Latte, and a member of the Scholarship Committee, LaVita Dolce. Our honoree at this year's Gala, Mari Con Carne, will make a special appearance, and Carmen Demanding will take a break from her shift at Mar-a-Lago to entertain the crowd. Don't be surprised if another queen or two pops up, maybe even from our board.
