What a year it’s been! We closed out our 2025 Night OUT Series with a spectacular evening at the Washington Commanders this past Monday, celebrating pride, sports, and community spirit. Another year, with every Major League sports team in the DC area hosting a Pride Night as part of our Night OUT series. As we head into the holidays, stay tuned for details about our Team DC Holiday Party — a festive way to come together before we kick off an incredible year ahead. In 2026, we’ll return bigger and bolder now that we have the dates for the Night of Champions Gala, Night OUT at the Washington Capitals, Night OUT at the Washington Wizards, and soon, the much-anticipated Night OUT at the Nationals. Team DC is growing, and we’re looking for passionate community leaders to join our Board of Directors to help shape the future of inclusive sports in the DMV. We had such an incredible time at Night OUT with the Washington Commanders that we’re keeping the spirit going! Join Team DC and our friends at Her Diner on Monday, October 27th for a special Monday Night Football Watch Party and Scholarship Fundraiser.

Cheer on the Commanders, enjoy great food and drinks, and help raise funds for the Team DC Student-Athlete Scholarship Program, supporting LGBTQ+ athletes from across the DMV.

This October, Team DC is proud to join Food & Friends for their annual Move for Meals campaign — a fitness and fundraising effort that turns every mile into meaningful impact.

Whether you walk, run, or bike, your movement helps deliver free, medically tailored meals to neighbors across the DC region living with serious illnesses such as HIV/AIDS and cancer. Every $30 raised provides a full day of healthy meals to someone in need.

💜 Join the Team DC crew and help us reach our fundraising goal! Together, we can show the power of our LGBTQ+ and sports community in action. Make sure you post your fitness activity and share photos, so we can all cheer each other on.

NIGHT OUT 2026

After our Commanders Night OUT this past Monday, we have completed another year of having all professional sports teams in the DC area hosting a Pride night or two, as part of the Night OUT series.

And now we are starting to line up the 2026 dates.

First up - Night OUT at the Washington Capitals

The Washington Capitals have scheduled a Pride Night for January 17, 2026 vs. the Florida Panthers. Ticket information available HERE

Join District Wrestling for our first-ever BEGINNERS WEEK! We're rolling out the welcome mats for anyone who's new to the sport of folkstyle and freestyle wrestling, and dedicating our Monday and Wednesday practices to the basics. Come learn about the club, pick up some free swag, meet other members, and get all your questions answered! Want to step onto the mats? We'll play some games and teach a few basic moves and drills for those who want a taste of the mat life! Both days are free, and you can get a $10 discount on our upcoming season if you sign up in person on either day!
